The James Joyce Library and UCD Library, Blackrock are now open. Access is limited in-campus. Online services are always available. Students who wish to sit and study must book a seat online and in advance using our booking system. Those who wish to come in and browse and borrow (but not study) do not need to book. Please note that occupancy levels have been reduced in line with COVID-19 restrictions. See our video for more.

Provides support for all students throughout their time at UCD and each programme has a dedicated Student Adviser. Please make contact when a student is in need of support, advice or is facing a University process and needs support. Student Advisers can also help if a student is in need of financial aid. All services are being maintained online. On-site attendance only when essential.

Provides psychological support for students when personal issues arise which affect their mental health, and their capacity to cope. The counselling service provides confidential consultations to students, and for staff who are concerned about students wellbeing.
